Double Chocolate Cookies 🤎🍫🍪
Crispy edges, soft centres, loaded with melty chocolate 🤎
Makes: 8 cookies
Ingredients
* 85 g unsalted butter, softened
* 75 g white sugar
* 75 g brown sugar
* 1 egg
* ½ tsp vanilla extract
* 155 g all-purpose flour
* 25 g unsweetened cocoa powder
* ½ tsp baking powder
* ½ tsp salt
* 100 g dark chocolate (chips or chopped)
Instructions
1. Preheat oven to 180°C (160°C fan) and line a baking tray with baking paper.
2. Cream the butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
3. Mix in the egg and vanilla extract until combined.
4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt.
5. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined.
6. Fold in the dark chocolate.
7. Scoop the dough into 8 equal portions, roll into balls, and place on the prepared baking tray, leaving space between each cookie.
8. Bake for 8–12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centres are still soft.
9. Let the cookies cool on the tray for 5–10 minutes before enjoying! 💌
